"Ktown Cowboys" shed the light on Koreatown subculture
A new webisodic series has hit the web and it's called "Ktown Cowboys"!
What's "Ktown"? It's basically short for the term "Koreantown" and largely refers to the one in LA, the largest population of Koreans outside of the motherland.
It's not just an area, it's a sub-culture, largely unknown to the masses.
Things are just done differently in Ktown. You dress different. You party different. You think different.
And finally, an episode web series has been made to shed the limelight on this way of life to the mainstream.
The first 5 episodes have already premiered at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival (LAAPFF) to a sold-out showing, and as of now, the first 2 have been released on YouTube.
So without further ado, we introduce to you, "Ktown Cowboys", directed by Daniel DPD Park, and starring Lanny Joon (Lost), Shane Yoon, Peter Jae, Danny Cho, Sunn Wee, and Bobby Big Phony Choy. Cameos by Justin Chon (Twilight) and Bobby Lee (Mad TV).
