Transformers: Dark of the Moon Teaser released!

The teaser for the 3rd Transformer movie has been released! Until its release on July 1st, 2011, there will be much to speculate. It's definitely something to look forward to in the new year!

Live-Action Sci-Fi Movie 'Space Battleship Yamato' opens today in Japan

For our North American readers old enough to remember waking up 6am in the morning before school to catch "Star Blazers", this is the first ever live-action movie version of the Japanese anime series it was based off of: Space Battleship Yamato.  Opening today in Japan, it stars Japan's number 1 leading man Kimura Takuya, along with Kuroki Meisa and Yanagiba Toshiro.

Looking at the trailer and the first 2 minutes of it, it certainly has potential for a worldwide release.  They even nabbed Aerosmith frontman, Steven Tyler to sing the official movie theme song, "Love Lives", bravely setting themselves for comparisons to the movie "Armageddon".  No announcements have been made so far for an American release.  If it ever does, going with the name "Star Blazers" would most certainly help the marketing side of it.

Time for Takeoff - FAR EAST MOVEMENT'S Rise to Power

What do get when you take 4 work-a-holic Asian Americans representing 4 distinct ethnicities (Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Filipino) and give them musical instruments? Elektro nirvana. Now mix in a venue and a void to fill and you're slowly beginning to understand what The Far East Movement epitomize. Since their saga is one that's still being written, let's bring you up to speed before you go ask somebody and get slapped.

No really. You the man. FM MOVEMENT was founded in 2003. Members consists of Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman. All four call Los Angeles, California home.

Aside from comparisons to LMFAO and numerous electro hip hop acts, they prefer to forge apart and be pioneers. In fact they don't much care for labels- they prefer to term their music (as well as the lifestyle they've created) 'Free Wired'.

From their official website, ‘Free Wired’ translates to a way of life by constantly staying interactive and living the lifestyle it promotes. If so..

Turtle lover or simply an avid fan of ENTOURAGE? Then you've likely heard their track in the background during one of Ari Gold's majestic tirades. "Boomshake"was featured in the HBO series.

If you're enamored of nitrous breathing beasts from the east, you'll immediately recognize and stand in respect to the battle anthem of the import scene deployed by FM in 2006.

Their sizzling single "Round Round" was loud and proud in the film "The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift". And speaking of smoking hot..

The Dogg Father himself, Snoop will be one of the artists featured on FM's new album entitled FREE WIRED. It is their first major debut album from Cherry/Interscope Records. It drops October 12, 2010 and also contains tracks graced by Keri Hilson, Lil Jon and

the ever enchanting Natalia Kills to name a few.

Earlier this year FM's single ANIMAL was used in the opening title sequence of the short K-Town Cowboys. If I drink 3 bottles of 750ml Hite, 2 soju bombs and a shot of Patron, how much alcohol have I consumed?

Why the dark sunglasses at night? According to Prohgrees,“Our routine and fashion allow us to party all night, then head straight to an important business meeting in the morning, we always stay business fresh, plus we keep shades on to hide the lack of sleep.”

Music Video for "Athena: Goddess of War" Released

As some of you may already know, the sequel/spin-off to last year's top Korean TV drama "Iris" is scheduled to air in Korea this November.  Called "Athena: Goddess of War", it pulls no punches with star power.

In the lead role is Jung Woo Sung.  Though not as renown as Lee Byung-Hun world-wide but definitely not lacking in the looks department, whether he can match Lee's performance in "Iris" remains to be seen. His credentials of hit movies and TV dramas, though, gives us a convincing bet that he will not fail to impress.  And judging from his character still below, there definitely is a hint of James Bond in him.

Equally impressive as the leading man, Park Soo Ae takes on the star female lead.  Park is probably best known for her role of Lady Junghwa in the drama "Emperor of the Sea".

We're not sure of Cha Seung-won role but he looks mighty bad-ass.

Here is Kim Min-jong.  According to sources, he will be playing a North Korean defector who becomes Jung's partner.

To make sure we have the teeny boppers glued to the tube, we have no other than Super Junior's Choi Siwon.

Last but not least, we have one gratutious eye-candy for the boys and men: Lee Jia.

So there you go: a quick intro to the cast.  Until the series starts in November, all we have to quell our anxiousness with, is a music video from its original soundtrack called "I Love You" by Park Hyo Shin.

Recklessly Driving Too Fast For Love Ms. Hwang Mi Hee

Greetings fellow earth dwellers! As we gaze at the heavenly body above us all, one can't help but muse- is the dawning of the age of Aquarius already upon us?

Conceivably so, but let’s back up a tad. Picture if you will, an unusually heated spring in South Korea. The year is 1981 and an adorable couple are in love. A tender lass swoons into the arms of a vivacious young man as he gently drops the needle into the groove of a freshly pressed vinyl by Peter Cetera- or his Korean equivalent.

The sensuous ballads (and perhaps soju) overtake the amorous duo. They fervently fall behind the bedroom door in a valiant attempt to justify their love. Jackpot.

“First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Hello Hwang Mi Hee.”

To the blessed couple was born a future 5'8" goddess on January 21, 1982. A date which must be auspicious indeed.

Don’t agree? Then throw down with a beautifully buxom, Bollywood bombshell. Indian actress Kim Sharma is also an Aquarius and needless to say, equally stunning.

And for the ladies, so is cool as ice Ken Leung- who is fortunately no longer LOST on ABC.

And btw, if you thought he was great on primetime, we implore you to rent the Spike Lee joint- SUCKER FREE CITY. He delivers an incredible performance. Power, praise and passion Mr. Leung, you rock.

Now being born on January 21^st isn’t just about beauty or being a badass on the big screen, there’s also a brawny tech titan residing under those same stars.

Be sure to wish Microsoft Co-Founder Paul Allen a very happy birthday too. But enough with the beefy brains you profanely contest? Get back to the ridiculously good looking people? Absolutely.

Gee, I really can make ANY ensemble work!

So alright, we’ve clearly and decisively established that each parent of the above made all the right moves at exactly the right time. Yet the throbbing question remains- how do YOU gain Hwang Mi Hee’s attention and garner her warmest affections?

Well, one of these definitely helps. But wait, your pesky CPA (aka wife to some of you) frowns a frosty no?

Then relax. For half the price Ms. Hwang might bat an eye if you passionately hammer the highway in a beguiling GT3.

Now all this is not to say she’s shallow, rather she simply knows what she wants. And (regrettably for mere mortal men) at the top of her list of favorite rides appear Bentley and Porsche- not Buick and Pontiac.

Despite this revelation brethren, we humbly move on due in part to the painful awareness that the Hyundai Genesis is an incredible vehicle. And value to boot. In fact, it's Motor Trend’s 2010 Car of the Year (and most notably) in our pay grade. Therefore, can someone shamelessly get a memo to her regarding this fascinating tidbit?

We may try. But the poignant fact is that you do certainly learn a lot about cars by standing around them all day. Literally.

So classroom, what have the horoscopes taught us today? That perhaps eye contact with such exquisite and unparalleled beauty was the real reason behind why Aquarius spilled all his precious water.

But give the poor chap a break, would any sensible man with sight behave otherwise? After all, we have heard the legend of the legions that drown in their own drool, diving to worship at the feet of Hwang Mi Hee.
